Gabe's birthday was such an experience for me. I had a c-section again and although it is a very unnatural way to bring a child into the world, the Lord allowed me to have a spiritual experience and I felt a settling of peace as the doctor sliced through every layer of tissue in my body. I know weird. The doctor couldn't get the baby to come out of the hole in my abdomen because he was stuck up under my ribs and he had to get on top of me and with all his body weight push down on my ribcage with his elbow to get the baby to come down. It was a bit wild. When my other kids came to visit, they seemed like giants and immediately fell in love with Gabe. I can't believe that just 5 years ago I wondered if I would ever get married and here I am with 3 kids. Life is beautiful.

Carrie you look AMAZING!!! Your kids are so beautiful. I loved the creative indoor play photos : ) Your birth story is CRAZY, what a woman but I've always know you are one tough cookie.
carrie, you do look so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for just having given birth! i am wondering about the three and counting . . . are you planning on having more soon???
Yeah...you do look amazing after birth! I have not seen a recent photo of Caroline! She is getting so old! WOW! I have not seen her since she was like 5 months! SO sad! Good to talk to you the other day! I miss you!
